OHSU Teams Up With American Stroke Association, Other Area Hospitals for Stroke Forum

Oregon Health & Science University has teamed up with the American Stroke Association, Legacy Health System and Providence Health System for the Stroke Awareness Forum, an educational seminar designed to promote a better understanding of stroke, a leading cause of disability and the nation's third leading killer. The forum features speakers who will discuss stroke warning signs, risk factors, treatment, care and the latest medical breakthroughs. Each participant will receive a voucher for a free stroke screening by HealthCheck Screening, Inc.
