Oregon Health & Science University today welcomes a delegation of Mexican health officials for a daylong conference on workforce diversity issues. The Oregon-Mexico Health Professionals Exchange (OMHPE) will address employer recruitment and retention programs, the nursing shortage and strategies to increase bilingual and bicultural nurses, and legislation to ease the certification of medical interpreters, among other issues.
