The Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation today announced the election of two new members to its board of directors: Bryan Timm and Craig Wessel.

Bryan Timm is vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Portland-based outdoor apparel and footwear giant Columbia Sportswear. Before joining Columbia, Timm was the divisional controller for CF&I Steel, Oregon Steel Mills' largest division.

"Doernbecher Children's Hospital has a long-standing tradition of tremendous community support throughout the region. Our volunteer board members represent an important component of that support," said Sue Nicol, executive director of the Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation. "We greatly appreciate their time, commitment and expertise."

The Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation is governed by a board of civic and community leaders who volunteer their time and expertise to provide policy direction and oversight. Board members are elected to two-year terms and may serve a maximum of three consecutive terms before a mandatory one-year hiatus.

The Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization that secures private philanthropic support for Doernbecher Children's Hospital at Oregon Health & Science University. The foundation raises funds from individuals, companies, foundations, trusts, and organizations and manages those funds in accordance with donors' wishes.
