OHSU Healthcare Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Cynthia Grueber is the new chief operating officer for OHSU Healthcare at Oregon Health & Science University. Grueber received her bachelor's degree in sociology from Michigan State University and her master's in health services administration from the University of Michigan. She has held a variety of leadership positions in community and academic health care organizations in Michigan, Virginia, Illinois and Missouri. Most recently, Grueber was hospital director for the University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics. She brings strong experience in quality management, service lines, medical staff relationships, and community mission and services. Grueber will report to Peter Rapp, vice president and executive director of OHSU Healthcare.
