Annual Rural Health Conference Focus: ‘25 Years of Learning From Each Other’

Celebrating the Successes and Preparing for the Challenges Facing Rural Health in the Coming Years

 

WHAT: The Oregon Office of Rural Health at Oregon Health & Science University, the Area Health Education Centers, the Oregon Rural Practice-based Research Network and the Oregon Rural Health Association will hold their 25th Annual Rural Health Conference. The theme is “25 Years of Learning from Each Other: Celebrating the Successes and Preparing for the Challenges Facing Rural Health in the Coming Years.


WHEN:
The conference opens Thursday, Sept. 25, 8 a.m., and continues through Saturday Sept. 27, 11:45 a.m.


WHERE:
Riverhouse Resort and Conference Center, 3075 N. Highway 97, Bend, Ore.

                       
DETAILS:
The conference includes sessions on recruitment and retention, medical home models, community dental and integrated care models, and other rural health issues.
