Screening is quick and painless. It involves a personalized evaluation of head and neck cancer risk factors and a careful inspection of the face and scalp, skin, mouth, tongue, throat, thyroid and neck

DETAILS: Most head and neck cancers can be linked to tobacco use or sun exposure and are preventable. Most head and neck cancers can be cured if found early.
