Elite Cyclist Discusses Challenges of Exercising With Diabetes

OHSU diabetes experts will be on site to answer questions, provide free finger stick blood sugar testing from 2 to 4 p.m.


WHAT:          Lonny Knabe, 32, a member of the elite cycling team Team Type 1 and native Oregonian, will meet with patients and families to discuss the challenges and successes associated with exercising with diabetes.

Diabetes experts will be available to answer questions.

Free finger stick blood sugar testing will be provided from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center, Oregon Health & Science University.
