SuEllen Pommier, M.D., PhD, Research Associate Professor, Department of Surgery, Gastrointestinal & General Surgery, received a $275,000 grant from the Avon Foundation for Women. Dr. Pommier will study the genetic defects that change normal breast stem cells into breast cancer stem cells.
