OHSU Brain Fair - The Popular Brain Awareness Season Family Event - Returns to OMSI This Weekend

 WHAT: The OHSU Brain Awareness Season Brain Fair returns to OMSI this weekend. 

WHERE:  OMSI Auditorium.
Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, 1945 S.E. Water Avenue, Portland 

WHEN: Saturday, March 13, 2009, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public, but does not include museum admission or other attractions.

DETAILS: The event will feature Helen Neville, Ph.D. a neuroscientist and psychologist at the University of Oregon. She will give a brief talk at noon on the developing brain.

OHSU’s highly popular “cerebral celebration” will include several interactive exhibits for the entire family and real brains!. Visitors will have a chance to talk one-on-one with OHSU neuroscientists as they explain and demonstrate their groundbreaking research. Kids will receive a free Brain Passport so they can document their learning by collecting answers at various locations throughout the fair.
