Dean Richardson comments on physician shortage

Mark Richardson, M.D., M.B.A., Dean, OHSU School of Medicine, commented on the physician shortage facing Oregon. In an article published on oregonlive.com, Dean Richardson said that even before health care reform, Oregon needed to add 200 new doctors a year. He went on to say, we “need to give up on the Marcus Welby idea of medical care.”
