Dr. Kim comments in Oregonian on U.S. heart failure epidemic

Tony Kim, MD, Associate Professor, Department of Medicine, Director of Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology, commented in the Oregonian on heart disease and the use of ventricular assist devices (VADs) within the aging U.S. population.  The article reports that roughly 4,500 people in the United States are connected to VADs. Dr. Kim said he expects that number to grow.
