New Geriatrics & Gerontology Resources Site

Are you getting older?  Are your patients getting older?

The OHSU Library, in collaboration with key partners from the OHSU Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Dentistry, the OHSU Hartford Center of Geriatric Nursing Excellence and the Oregon Geriatric Education Center, has created a site of Library Resources for Geriatrics & Gerontology, a one-stop site focused on geriatrics and gerontology resources.

Recognizing that the care of older adults is best delivered in teams, the OHSU Geri Portal is intentionally interdisciplinary.   Whether you're a physician, nurse, allied health professional or student, this resource will provide you with quick access to the information you need with the click of a mouse.

If you are a licensed Oregon health professional, you can sign up for a library barcode and access a number of resources for non-OHSU Oregon licensed health professionals available through the OHSU Library.   If you are not a licensed Oregon health professional, you can still access a number of resources for non-OHSU users through the OHSU Library. You can also request PubMed articles through Loansome Doc or through interlibrary loan at your local public library.

The OHSU Library  Resources for Geriatrics & Gerontology can be found at http://www.ohsu.edu/library/geriatrics/

If you have comments or questions about this new resource site, please contact Laura Zeigen at zeigenl@ohsu.edu or 503-494-0505.
