Be in the know--Scholarly Communication @ OHSU

Are you curious about issues in publishing and scholarship such as where you should publish your research or how to best share your knowledge and research with colleagues? Do want to learn more about the issues facing libraries and information sharing? Consider following the blog Scholarly Communication @ OHSU for updates in this area. (Scholarly communication refers to the process of scholars and researchers sharing information and publishing their research so that this knowledge is available to the academic and public community.) The blog includes information about new developments with public access policies, information about scientist-driven information sharing initiatives, and more.

In addition to providing up-to-date information about scholarly communication on the blog, the library provides scholarly communication support to the OHSU community by offering information sessions regarding the NIH Public Access Policy, one-on-one consultations with individuals who need to submit their work to PubMed Central, and more.

If you would like to request a consultation or want more information, please contact Emily Ford, Scholarly Communication Librarian. E-mail fordem@ohsu.edu or call 503-494-3915.
