Dr. Horak discusses motor signals in Statesman Journal Parkinson’s article

Fay Horak, MD, Professor, Department of Neurology, was interviewed in a Statesman Journal article on how exercise can help Parkinson’s patients. In her own work with OHSU’s Balance Disorders Laboratory, Dr. Horak has seen Parkinson’s patients respond favorably to complex, challenging activities such as dancing, boxing, tai chi and hiking.
