Dr. Keepers selected as a Director of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

Dr. KeepersGeorge A. Keepers, M.D., Carruthers Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychiatry has announced his selection as a Director of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. His term will begin in 2011. Typically directors serve 2 three-year terms.

“This is an exciting development for me and I could not be more pleased,” said Dr. Keepers. “The opportunity to contribute at the national level to furthering the excellence of our profession is very meaningful to me. I am particularly grateful to Barbara Schneidman and Jim Shore who supported my nomination.”
