Dr. Hersh pens column for Oregonian addressing marketplace and cost of health care

Writing that “the problem with health care is that it doesn't obey the principles of markets,” William Hersh, MD, Professor and Chair, Department of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology, was a recent guest columnist in the Oregonian. His article is called, Hospital costs: Health care doesn't play by the rules of the market.
