Charles Hofmann, MD, an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, has been named the Oregon Medical Association’s 2011 Doctor Citizen of the Year. Dr. Hofmann is a Baker City internist. He also won the award in 1990.
The annual award honors a physician who has made outstanding contributions to his community, the practice of medicine, and health care policy in our state.
According to the OMA website, “Dr. Hofmann has demonstrated unyielding dedication to his community and has played an integral part in shaping health reform in Oregon.”
