OHSU's Casey Eye Institute hosts artwork, reception for sculpting students at the Washington State School for the Blind

WHAT

Washington State School for the Blind sculpting students along with artist/teacher Petra Brambrink will attend a reception at Oregon Health & Science University's Casey Eye Institute where their work is temporarily on display. Media are invited to meet the students during the reception to speak with them about their sculpting experience and finished artwork. All of the students are significantly visually impaired or blind.

DETAILS

WSSB has an elective sculpture class that is offered annually to students. The class is taught by sculpting artist and teacher, Petra Brambrink. This is the first year that completed art projects by the students will go on public display. The art will remain on display at Casey Eye Institute through mid-June.
