Free networking event for job seekers with disabilities

Seventh annual Night for Networking features more than 50 employers committed to workforce diversity

WHAT: 

OHSU Night for Networking, or N4N, helps job seekers with disabilities connect with local businesses offering potential employment and internship opportunities. People with disabilities have the highest unemployment rate of any minority in the United States.

The OHSU N4N event is free and features:

-- A unique opportunity to connect with employers from multiple industries in an intimate setting
-- Facilitators, attendants and interpreters
-- Free Uber rides for participants
-- Food, drinks and live acoustic music

More than 400 people and 43 local businesses attended last year's event. 

WHEN: 

Wednesday, Oct. 26, 6 to 9 p.m. 

WHERE: 

Collaborative Life Sciences Building, 2730 S.W. Moody Ave., Portland 

DETAILS: 

Park free after 5 p.m. in the Schnitzer Parking Lot, one block north of the Collaborative Life Sciences Building, or CLSB. Parking beneath the building is $4/hour. Paid, on-street parking is extremely limited. Find the best TriMet route. CLSB sits on the west end of Tilikum Crossing.
