Dr. Bourdette directs a team dedicated to curing and treating diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stroke and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS. He is nationally recognized for important discoveries in the field of multiple sclerosis, including research involving novel thyromimetics that stimulate remyelination in the brain. He is also one of the first clinicians in the country to draw public attention to alarming rise in the cost of drugs to treat MS.
