Patient vaccination appointments will be rescheduled for week of Feb. 15

UPDATED FEB. 17, 2021: OHSU automatically rescheduled the 7,695 patients with appointments Feb. 13 and 14 at the PDX Red Economy parking lot and Hillsboro Stadium testing sites for Feb. 18 – 21, same time and location. Regarding appointments at Multnomah Pavilion on OHSU’s Marquam Hill Campus, OHSU reached out to the 142 patients scheduled to be vaccinated Feb. 14 and has successfully rescheduled 134 thus far.

Patients were notified via email/phone/text.

FEB. 15, 2021, UPDATE: The OHSU drive-through COVID-19 testing site at the Hillsboro Stadium, which was closed Friday due to wintry weather, will not open until 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17 due to weather-related issues.

With snow and freezing temperatures in the forecast, and a large contingent of patients 80 and older scheduled to be vaccinated at our outdoor clinics Feb. 13 - 14, OHSU has decided to close its vaccination clinics this weekend for both patient and staff safety reasons.

Closed vaccination sites include:

  • The drive-through mass vaccination clinic at the PDX Red Economy parking lot
  • The drive-through clinic at the Hillsboro Stadium
  • The OHSU patient clinic in the Multnomah Pavilion on OHSU’s Marquam Hill campus

OHSU is contacting all affected patients to inform them of the closure and help them reschedule their appointments for next week. Individuals who are due for their second dose will be rescheduled to receive their vaccinations within the recommended timeframe.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Our goal is to keep our patients, members and volunteers safe by mitigating the risk of driving/commuting in the snow and exposure to freezing temperatures.
