
Michael Rorabaugh has been named vice president of development and chief development officer of the OHSU Foundation after having served in an interim role since the spring of 2022. In this role, Rorabaugh leads a team of development professionals who work with donors and supporters to raise funds that support OHSU’s and OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital’s missions of research, clinical care, education, and advocacy.
With more than 15 years of higher education advancement experience in principal, major gift, and annual giving, Rorabaugh joined the OHSU Foundation as assistant vice president of development for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in 2021. He previously worked at University of Washington as associate athletic director and chief advancement officer for Intercollegiate Athletics.
A native of Idaho, Rorabaugh has Oregon ties, having served as director of development at the Oregon State University Foundation from 2013 to 2015. He has extensive experience working with volunteer programs and boards and continues to leverage those skills to increase support for OHSU and Doernbecher. Rorabaugh holds degrees from Azusa Pacific University and the University of San Francisco.
