“At a time of significant health care access and workforce challenges here in Oregon and across the country, we thank Gov. Kotek for her ongoing commitment to Oregon Health & Science University, Oregon’s only academic health center. OHSU and all of its dedicated employees hold a unique responsibility in serving Oregonians from every corner of our state by providing the full continuum of health care from primary to the most complex, advancing groundbreaking research and educating the next generation of our state's health care workforce.

“We look forward to the work ahead with the Governor and the Oregon Legislature to preserve the vital and unique impact the state’s public academic health center serves in advancing healing, teaching and discovery for Oregon and beyond.”
