This video shows the shape and arrangement of key enzymes that help break down RNA in a bacterium called S. mutans. The two main enzymes, called RNase J1 and RNase J2, work together as a pair. Small pieces of RNA are placed into pockets within each enzyme where they can be processed. The lower part of the structure brings the enzymes together and allows them to interact with each other, acting like a central hub that keeps everything connected. (Courtesy)
