Luiz Bertassoni, D.D.S., Ph.D., founding director of the Knight Cancer Precision Biofabrication Hub and professor in the OHSU Division of Oncological Sciences, has helped develop a method to engineer artificial blood vessels that can support tooth regeneration. The approach could transform future root canal treatments by restoring living tissue instead of removing it. (OHSU)
