Dr. Huang is co-inventor of the imaging technology known as optical coherence tomography, for which he received the 2023 Lasker-DeBakey Clinical Medical Research Award. He applies innovations in laser and optical technology to eye diseases and leads the OHSU Center for Ophthalmic Optics and Lasers.
