Dr. Bumsted is responsible for the academic leadership and management of the M.D. education program, and oversees all aspects of undergraduate training, including OHSU School of Medicine MD Program curriculum development, faculty recruitment, student admissions, and medical student instruction, evaluation and progress.
Bumsted has received numerous awards throughout her career, including student-appointed honors such as the Michael Miller Faculty Teaching Award and the Faculty Excellence in Education Award.
