Members of the OHSU and AFSCME collective bargaining teams met Tuesday, March 15. Several Tentative Agreements, or TAs, were exchanged, and both sides shared responses to items from last week’s meeting.

While many of the items in yesterday’s collective bargaining session were upkeep-related, some of them were more substantive, centering on the following themes:

  • How internal procedures work.
  • Personnel records and grievances.
  • Language related to rest and meal breaks.

Going forward

Both sides will continue working on responses in preparation for upcoming sessions. Because next week is Spring Break for many, collective bargaining will resume Tuesday, March 29.
