As Oregon’s only academic health center, Oregon Health & Science University is uniquely positioned to help address the health care challenges in every corner of our state. Through her recommended budget, we greatly appreciate Gov. Tina Kotek’s commitment to increasing the health care workforce and addressing the behavioral health crisis, as well as her support of OHSU as a partner in building a healthier Oregon for all.

At our university, leading evidence-based health care services, innovative clinical training and health education programs, in addition to groundbreaking research, come together in service to our state, region, nation and the world. Ongoing public support for OHSU is essential to maintaining and building on the incredible work that the people here do every day. Over the coming months, we look forward to working in partnership with Gov. Kotek and the Oregon Legislature to advance the health and well-being of all Oregonians.
